Reflections of the year at its sunset

You've probably heard the saying that most people in their twilight years on earth regret more the things they didn't do, opportunities they let slip by, than the things they attempted and failed. As 2018 is drawing to a close, what did you miss which you regret? For some it's loving their families and spending quality time with their spouse, children or siblings; for others it's a course that could have gotten them promotion at work and yet for others it could be sticking to that healthy diet and exercise programme.

It's not too late! The beginning of the year always seems to be a good time to start over again. But before that, reflection on why things didn't work is important before planning for 2019 to be the year you dream it to be. Then mapping out the year with a robust plan that avoids the pitfalls of previous year.

Here are some tips that can help:-

- being intentional by writing things down

- having a vision board

- accountability partners, can be friends, family members for social issues

- like minded people, like a mastermind group for business

- rewarding yourself at intervals, milestones

What do you find helps?
